Hello! My name is Ray aka Classic Turner.

I’m a professional audio engineer specializing in Rock & Hip-Hop. I fell in love with mixing while learning to produce my own music as an early teen. In 2016, I graduated from the Sheffield Institute for the Recording Arts with 4.0 GPA. Since then, I’ve worked with artists from all walks of life to perfect their sound and help them explore their passion for music. I have had the privilege of working live sound events with national acts, and mixed records for local bands and artists in Maryland.

In 2023, I launched Music Is Me Productions as a reflection of my love for audio, and my commitment to crafting the perfect sound. I believe music is more than just sound, it’s a way of expressing who we are. Every track I work on is a piece of someone’s story, and my job is to make sure that story is felt and heard.
